In light of my mainstay 17-40L Canon wide angle lens being slightly damaged needing to send it to Canon for repairs, I rented the somewhat more opulent 16-35mmL Canon wide angle. Bleh. At least this particular one. I wonder if a prior renter decided to play frisbee with it, as it has too much vignetting and chromatic aberration. Add that to the fact that I rented the lens on the worst day of the year for attractive outdoor scenes, and…whatever. Here’s one shot anyway. Back when I was about 20 years old in 2001 I worked in that lowrise building there across the street, one of UMB Bank’s offices. I don’t hit up this part of downtown all that often really, so it’s always a slight trip down memory lane when I do.
