At my job at the Kansas City Board of Trade, I noticed these old grain review books dating back to before anyone working presently in our building was born. I asked my coworker who’s often busy scanning these old documents into PDF format to leave some lying out for me so I could get a shot. And of course I couldn’t resist adding a bit of an antiquity look to the photo via textured layering in Photoshop. Although I’m sure someone intimately familiar with 1920s era photography could spot the difference in a millisecond.
