This is just off of I-35 heading through Johnson County in the tiny little suburb of Merriam which too decided it wanted a piece of that ubiquitous suburban strip mall revenue flowing all over America until recently. So they built one sprawlplex across the street and planned two more, this being one of them. Funny how their anchor tenant went through bankruptcy several months back and the place just sits now. This is truly telling of how when you take suburban real estate developers and suburban municipalities looking for some quick and easy tax revenue, you end up with a peculiar species of real estate buffoonery that doesn’t have the common sense God gave a flea.
