With the springtime blooming of the treebuds I figured I’d go for something floral and cheery. But being who I am the photo I took and edited ended up looking macabre and dreary. But there are indeed little springtime treebuds here, you just have to look for them. This is one of the parts of Westport Road here in midtown Kansas City MO that wasn’t so utterly decimated by auto-oriented zoning laws that it’s still a pleasure to take pictures of.
