I’m getting violent, threatening emails regarding my not updating this site for nearly three days.

Okay I made that up - I’ve just been busy tending to matters and affairs.

Here we have a goose, a Loose Park goose in this instance. He/she was not shy at all, and practically got right up in my face while my telephoto lens protruded outward. The Loose Park geese are noticeably more approachable than the geese just a quarter of a mile away at Brush Creek, probably because people feed them in the park. Anyway, you all know how big a fan I am of all sorts of waterfowl, so it was time one of their representatives made another appearance. I met up with one of the Kansas City photographers’ groups at Loose Park the other day and chatted it up for awhile, and we all got some shots in. The sunset was lousy that night however, so no dice there. But good waterfowl opportunities though.
