Civil dissent against the Cordish Company - part two

One handhheld RAW // HDR // Shutter: 1/160 // Aperture: f/8.0 // Focal Length: 17 mm // ISO 100

Another shot, kind of similar to the prior one, about the protesting of some policies by the Cordish Company, developer of downtown Kansas Citys’ Power and Light District over their afore-mentioned dress code.

But anyway, I did take a lot of photos that day, so I’ll post more of the tournament crowds and downtown stuff in the coming days, unrelated to strife and civil dissent. But you know how much I love protests as subject matter for the photoblog here. And as I told one of the protesters I spoke with, dissent and protest to me signifies the populace is awake enough to recognize the things wrong and actually get justifiably mad about it, as opposed to consigning themselves to having their rights eroded away while munching on Cheeze Doodles and watching their DVR’d recordings of Dancing with the Stars.

I try to keep my own strong opinionations off of this site for the most part but lately I’m having a hard time with that.
