I took this as I was walking from Penn Station to Grand Central Station in Manhattan to take the train up to White Plains to catch the helicopter to come back over Manhattan and take photos.
Well, it was all a bit catchy, so I couldn’t resist. Though I cannot help but feel troubled for the horse. That face of his tells a story of sadness. At least I thought it did.
I should note that there are at least a couple technical aspects of this photo that are all wrong, however I’m compelled to make use of the photo anyway, not just because of the horse himself but also the word “BILLIONS!” emblazoned on the ticker behind - quite appropos October 2008.
