In the rounds of taking family photos for our Christmas get-together today I snapped a couple of my aunt and uncle’s dog Lucy. It felt good in fact to actually be taking a decent amount of photos again, as I’ve had such a hard time lately keeping on track.
Although it may be considered a tad verboten by some in the photoblogging community to post pictures of family pets, I’m making an exception here. I’m glad though that Christmas Day this year felt a lot better than the overall general awfulness that has permeated the rest of the year 2008.
Also, on the photo subject matter Lucy… I love this dog, what else can I say. Even though I don’t get out to see her very often.
On another note - a total overhaul of this site will be occuring eventually, sometime in early 2009, I’m hoping. The daily (heh) photoblog will remain the front page, but will be organized better and more integrated with the gallery, among other things.
