I went and bought a nice new tripod today, as my old one that’s stood by me for nearly two nears has worn out. And it wasn’t really sturdy enough to accommodate the 5D in tandem with the 100-400 telephoto lens, which may have just been what did in the old tripod. Funny to think how the Manfrotto tripod and head I just bought is actually somewhat more expensive than the couch I recently ordered (abeit a cheap couch).
