Five tripod mounted RAWs // HDR // Shutter: varied // Aperture: f/20 // Focal Length: 17 mm // ISO 400
I figured it had been a few months since traipsing over into the environs of the Liberty Memorial - the oft-seen lookout towards the KCMO skyline. Between getting skyline telephoto shots, I also snagged some wide angle close-ups at the base of the tower… it’s just that the pattern of lights in in the ground, I thought, demanded attention. Lights in the ground always demand attention. And HDR was a big help for this shot in coming out with an even exposure, given the bright highlights of the lamps at the base of the tower, contrasted with the sunset happening off to the west.
