As I mentioned before, I bought a new lens this month, the Canon 85 mm f/1.8 prime, and Jyl (pronounced like “Jill”), a coworker of mine at the Board Of Trade was needing some portraits done. As I’ve heard others say about this lens, it is amazingly sharp and crisp even with its aperture wide open at f/1.8 - it does amazing things for portrait work. I’m also piecing together a portrait portfolio as well, so you may have noticed by now more people shots surfacing on this site off and on. And, Jyl seems very photogenic with this tree and the new lens - I’d say they all go together.
