I’ve just recently started sorting through photos I took at the beginning of the month, and in the process I got fixated with this one, editing it and re-editing it. The proud and tall art deco scraper to the left, the Power and Light Building, I understand served as the blueprint for the newer scraper to the right, One Kansas City Place. And down in the middle is that damned reminder of this city’s bipolarity.
