- an afternoon scene of very low population density, out in the Red Hills area of south central Kansas - taken on August 31st.
I’m turning 28 tonight at 3:19 AM, but I’m hoping to be asleep for the occasion. And because of my birthday, I’ll be editing the About page to something a little more up to date - in addition to the needed improvements I need to make for my site in the near future.
On this photo concerning the editing, I have vacillated - as I tend to do often with most everything - betwixt and between a hearty fulfillment and a cynical sneer at my editing treatment. With HDR and Photomatix, I’m still allergic and sensitive to seeing subtle halos everywhere.
