Today were the state primary elections, and a colleague of mine from high school (the late nineties), Jason Kander has grabbed the spot for Missouri house seat for District 44, which comprises a portion of KCMO south of the Plaza, as I understand it. The watch party was at Lew’s Grill and Bar in Waldo, and some notable people made it out for this event. And like the picnic I mentioned last month in Loose Park, I ran into a few more people from high school who I hadn’t seen in years. Lucky for me though they weren’t the ones I would wish ill upon. So, look for Jason Kander to be fighting and roughhousing in Jefferson City.
