In the evening of my first day in St. Louis last week, I concluded the day’s photography with some streetscapes from Laclede’s Landing - an old district of midrise brick buildings - what’s left of it anyway. The place seemed to have elements of Kansas City’s River Market and elements of Kansas City’s Westport - but just a little.
I’ve surmised that the St. Louis locals keep away from the place due to the simultaneous tourist/fratty onslaught - or so I’ve gathered. The built environment of the place just looks awesome though.
