One handheld RAW // HDR // Shutter: 1/500 // Aperture: f/8.0 // Focal Length: 17mm // ISO 200
So I finally got out to get some new photos today. The weather was just perfect this afternoon for HDR shots because of the puffy clouds that are the mainstay of the summer.
On this photo, I can’t help but be bothered by the halo effect - albeit small - seen on the edges of the building. Halos are the scourge of HDR photography, and I spent twenty or thirty minutes twiddling around in the Photomatix HDR editor, but even still there’s a bit of a halo. Hopefully a subsequent version of Photomatix will correct this problem..
Oh and about the subject matter, this is the H&R Block world headquarters, built in 2005 in downtown KCMO.
