Three tripod mounted RAWs // HDR // Shutter: varied // Aperture: f/7.0 // Focal Length: 17mm // ISO 100
Another shot from my Tuesday night visit to Delaware Street in the River Market neigbhorhood of KCMO. The River Market is consistently one of my favorite places in Kansas City to capture the architecture of the old days, as well as candid street portraiture from the diverse crowds of the City Market.
I’m still finding success with my new method of correcting the white balance of each HDR source image in the Photoshop Raw editor prior to merging to HDR. So, I now shoot in RAW mode for everything.
Until the public relations makeover of a few years ago, the River Market was called River Quay (pronounced like “River Key”) and was infamous for the buildings exploding due to underworld mobster machinations.
In other news, I got utterly bored with my living arrangement, and therefore went about moving all my furniture around - which is a trait I share in common with my late paternal grandfather, or so my grandmother says.
