Like I have mentioned in previous posts, I keep strange hours. Yesterday (Saturday) I shot 370 photos around St. Louis, including some fun fireworks shots which will come later in the week. I have a helpful valet at the St. Louis Ballpark Hilton to thank for cluing me in about the fireworks show. It was absolutely hotter than the hellfire of Hades this weekend, which probably prevented me from snapping even more photos than I did.
Anyway, last night I was completely exhausted, but because of my mental madness, I couldn’t sleep at all. By about 1 am, I got out of my hotel room bed, packed up my gear, and started the drive home to Kansas City. Pulling out of the St. Louis parking garage design abortion at 1:19 am, I walked in my KC apartment at precisely 5 am, and still have not slept.
The photo above, taken in the hotel elevator, was a spontaneous and unforeseen event, but I thought it came out great. Please stay tuned.
